Let’s Get Ship Faced!
Based in Doral, Florida, Biscayne Bay Brewing Company is one of Miami’s first craft breweries, and is focused on making the finest beer using high quality ingredients that represent Miami’s many flavors. From pale ale to saison and double IPA, there’s a brew for everyone to enjoy. The brewery is open everyday for its local patrons to come and enjoy their daily specials. Not only can they come enjoy the food and brews, but guests can also go behind-the-scenes and take a tour of the production facility.
“2017 has been a milestone year for us and there’s plenty of reason to celebrate,” said Jose Mallea, Co-Founder and President of Biscayne Bay Brewing Company. “We invite all our friends and fans to come out and toast with us!”
To celebrate their anniversary, Biscayne Bay Brewing Company will be hosting the “Let’s Get Ship Faced” anniversary party. All of the hoppy action is taking place October 21st, 2017 from 12PM-6PM. Ship mates can expect to find a live DJ, food trucks, guest taps, and more. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the South Florida Council of Firefighters.
“Thanks to our loyal fans and customers we have achieved a great deal. We look forward to the journey that lies ahead, and continuing to establish Miami as a premiere destination for Craft Beer.”
The craft brew scene is spilling over more than the head of a badly poured pint (don’t worry, that won’t happen at any of these places).
Locally brewed beer is as hot as a Miami summer. And as we approach all the Oktoberfest celebrations, you’re going to want to know where to enjoy them.
So here’s your ultimate guide, from the brewmasters and bartenders themselves, on their “Most Miami” brews — and where to find them.
Biscayne Bay Brewing
Coming up on their one-year anniversary this month, Biscayne Bay Brewing in Doral keeps expanding its beer selection. If you had to choose one to represent the 305 it would be the Miami Pale Ale. The 5.5 percent American Pale Ale is described as a “moderate, refreshing ale with noticeable hop aroma balanced by supporting malt flavors.” It’s the perfect description for the way they like to brew beer, says Co-founder and President Jose Mallea. Miami Pale Ale is available at select Total Wine Stores and Whole Foods Markets.
